I& #39;ve played a lot of games over the years, and I& #39;m consistently surprised that the 2 games I& #39;ve put the most time into (after Civ V and VI) are Diablo 3 and Enter The Gungeon.
Diablo 3 doesn& #39;t seem to be a darling to anyone (including a lot of the devs at Blizzard), but I love everything about it. I don& #39;t even have any friends to play with! It& #39;s been years and I still pop in every once in a while to gain a few levels and mess around.
Enter The Gungeon is such a big game from a small company. I usually don& #39;t love cripplingly hard games, but for whatever reason, I just can& #39;t quit the Gungeon. Finally beat the game for the first time earlier this week, after 80+ hours of gameplay. EtG is my dark souls.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend Enter the Gungeon from @DodgeRollGames if you& #39;re looking for something that& #39;s super easy to pick up and incredibly complex to keep your attention. PLUS, it& #39;s on sale right now on Humble Bundle. Massively worth the 7.50 they& #39;re asking for.
My all-time games though, are the Civ games. I& #39;ve played every Civ since 4 (including all the Revolution games) and have easily logged over 1000 hours in those games. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Civ games.
Oh, snap, how could I forget! @NoMansSky rounds out the list of my all-time most played games. I& #39;ve been playing since day 1 and the game just keeps getting better. It& #39;s still less of a game to me, and more of a "mood". I go into No Man& #39;s Sky just to hang out, no end game.
No real point to this thread. Just thinking about my all-time favorite games that I can come back to over and over and over again. I& #39;ll never get sick of them.
