IU has announced its plans for the academic year. The health and safety of our community is our top priority – important changes are required for the year ahead.

Updates can be found at http://fall2020.iu.edu .
The Fall Term will run from Aug. 24-Dec. 20. There will be no Fall Break.

Academic courses will be offered through blended instruction of both in-person and online courses. Instruction will pivot to fully online on Nov. 30.
A new Winter Session will provide an opportunity for additional credit hours if desired. It will run from Nov. 30 to Feb. 7 and will be entirely online.
The Spring Term will begin online on Jan. 19. In-person instruction will resume on Feb. 8 until the term ends on May 9. There will be no Spring Break.
Residence halls will be single occupancy as available with a rigorous exemption process available for students who may wish to choose their own roommate.
We fully recognize that some members of our community may be at greater risk due to age or pre-existing health conditions. We are putting in place procedures for adjusting duties and expectations where needed and feasible.
We will continue to adapt to new developments as they happen.

Further details specific to the IU Bloomington campus will be released by @IUBProvost in the coming days and weeks. This information will be available on http://fall2020.iu.edu
