During 1948 Indo-Pak war, the Indian Army requested him to not order a ceasefire as they were very close to completely flush out the terrorists from J&K & gain full control of the state.

But still he ordered a ceasefire & that's where the whole Kashmir problem began.

He failed to analyse the Chinese aggression. For weeks, no one knew that chinese army entered Aksai China built a road until the locals complained about the chinese activity.

Nehru's response? Denied sending the army to check it out. Actually, he did nothing.

Wg Cmd Jagmohan Nath from the IAF requested Nehru to use the IAF in Tibetan region where many chinese troops were stationed. Bombing the area could have stopped the chinese. China barely has any usable jets at that time. But Nehru denied this request.

US & the Soviet Union seperately made informal offers of UNSC permanent seat to India. Nehru refused both of them to please China.

Man! What a stupidity!

Nehru was against the possession of Nuclear Weapons. Had he been alive for 4 more years, India would have signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty that prevents the signatories from acquiring the nukes.

We wouldn't have been a nuclear state today that acts as a deterrence to China.

He was in a Bhopal visit once where he couldn't find his favourite 555 brand Cigarettes. And guess what happened next? He sent a whole god damn plane to Indore to get his cigarettes and travel all the way back to Bhopal.

So he was the worst Prime minister this country has ever had. The damages inflicted by him are so severe that India is still suffering due to his pathetic leadership.
