Theme parks are social. Twitter is social. Therefore, theme park twitter is super social. The behaviors of others on here greatly influences our behaviors and actions. We see influencers buying the latest and greatest and we suddenly need it. A new ride opens and
Jimmy Jacker loves it, so you plan a trip for the family earlier than expected to see it. You spend holidays at the parks. You miss them dearly. You're about to see other people head to the parks in a few short weeks, and you're worried about your well-deserved FOMO.
But here's the thing. You can't let these influencers and regulars and locals and people different from you at their very core make such a personal decision for you such as returning to the parks. This is a matter of health and safety - the health and safety of you, your friends,
your family, your traveling group, and anyone you'll see when you return home. Do not let an influencer decide for you. Do not let footage of a nearly-empty Rise of the Resistance decide for you. Sure, take these matters into mind while planning your return - but, ultimately -
The decision is yours, and it's deeply personal. Don't do anything that feels unsafe. Don't risk your health. Don't go to Disney if it's gonna kill your grandma when you get home and spread COVID-19 to her. Don't listen to me - you already know this. Be smart. Be safe.
