brad and i decided to go adventuring yesterday bc it was so nice out so we drove 2 hrs north to go fishing and not even 10 mins before we get there we hear a crazy loud POP so we slow down immediately, park the truck and walk around to see what happened...

and of course, the drivers front tire was completely flat. as we’re walking around the back of the truck we also notice that the tailgate had unlatched bc of the dirt roads we were driving on and ALL of our fishing tackle and rods fell out somewhere along the way...

so brad starts to take the spare tire out from under the truck and i walk about 5 mins down the road to see if i can find our fishing supplies but of course no luck. on my walk back, i notice that a man driving by had stopped to help brad with the tire and they put the spare on.

this man was so nice and he felt so bad that we drove all that way to go fishing and lost all our tackle that he gave us a few of his jigs so we could at least try and catch some fish. we ended up catching SO many fish and had a pretty great time after that!

a couple hours later on our way back home, we kept our eyes peeled for our fishing tackle but unfortunately we were unable to find it. when we finally got home, we noticed that a small rock got lodged in the drivers rear tire as well and there was a small leak.

and sure enough, when we went to look at the truck this morning that same tire was completely flat. so we pumped it back up, put on our winters for now and made an apt on monday to pick up some new ones... now we also have to buy more tackle, we lost thousands of dollars worth...

i feel so bad for brad. his truck is his baby and fishing is his life, especially right now. if anyone happens to come across a grey/blue tackle pack sac PLS respond to this thread w a picture and we’ll provide u with a reward. thank u
