Another day, another win by our legal team in ⁦ @IntegrityforUSA⁩’s Charlottesville lawsuit. The court just granted in full our plaintiffs’ motion to compel discovery from neo-Nazi defendant Jeff Schoep, who must quickly turn over his phone & other evidence and pay fees.
It’s also worth noting that the court explicitly warned Schoep that continued failure to comply may result in further sanctions and contempt of court. Other defendants in @IntegrityforUSA’s Charlottesville case have faced huge $$ sanctions and jail time for flouting court orders
As we’ve long said, if Schoep truly wants to change and leave the neo-Nazi movement as he claims, there’s one way to do so: start complying with court orders, stop lying, and tell the truth about what happened in Charlottesville. Anything less is a sham.
The court also had to remind Schoep and his attorney of their “duty of professionalism and respect,” in response to their coded language about plaintiffs using “economic advantage” to “bully” Schoep.
There’s a particular irony to a neo-Nazi claiming that he’s being “bullied” by plaintiffs who were grievously injured during a weekend of violence he helped orchestrate.
And yet another win for our plaintiffs in @IntegrityforUSA’s Charlottesville case: the court rejected an attempt by Schoep and NSM’s lawyer to withdraw from representing NSM. Our plaintiffs opposed the withdrawal, noting that attorney ReBrook routinely obstructed discovery.
The court also underscores that Schoep remains liable in our suit, even if he now claims he's “reformed":

"Evidence that Schoep apparently had a change of heart 2 years later…has no bearing on whether ReBrook’s clients are liable to Plaintiffs for the misconduct alleged...”
Here’s something special:

Former National Socialist Movement commander Schoep cites Michigan’s stay-at-home order to explain why he didn’t turn over evidence in @IntegrityforUSA’s Charlottesville suit.

Of course NSM members have been protesting these orders w/ Nazi signs. 🤷‍♀️
