Those of you who are parents and have kids who are on the Autism Spectrum, it doesn’t give other people the right to use the R word against them. I don’t appreciate the fact that some of us are autistic and being treated like we are stupid. We may have different disabilities...

...but it doesn’t give other people the right to treat us with disrespect and think it’s ok to call us the R word. Not only does it hurt, but it breaks my heart that we are getting treated like this. Please be careful and respectful to people with disabilities.
