About 20% of the customers at this grocery store are buying into this whole mask thing.
As the designated person from my household who runs errands, one thing I& #39;ve noticed most in the past few months is the poorer the neighbourhood, the less likely you are to see people wearing masks.
Same for stores. I see way fewer shoppers at the less expensive Super C (where I get stuff like TP, paper towels and the cans of Perrier I love) in masks than at the more expensive IGA a few blocks away. Heartbreaking when you see that poorer parts of MTL have been hit so hard.
Anyway, I know that our amazing, brave health care workers want us to wear masks when we can and that& #39;s good enough for me. It makes me sad how many people not only won& #39;t listen to them, but seem proud of it. End of thread.
