About 20% of the customers at this grocery store are buying into this whole mask thing.
As the designated person from my household who runs errands, one thing I've noticed most in the past few months is the poorer the neighbourhood, the less likely you are to see people wearing masks.
Same for stores. I see way fewer shoppers at the less expensive Super C (where I get stuff like TP, paper towels and the cans of Perrier I love) in masks than at the more expensive IGA a few blocks away. Heartbreaking when you see that poorer parts of MTL have been hit so hard.
Anyway, I know that our amazing, brave health care workers want us to wear masks when we can and that's good enough for me. It makes me sad how many people not only won't listen to them, but seem proud of it. End of thread.
