Here’s a PSA about the George watch parties. Every week I spend about an afternoon organising times for the entire world. When I do this, I usually have to take personal requests into consideration + the needs of the whole group. It tends to create a lot of stress bc we are
Literally trying to fit the entire world into one event and give everyone a time that is reasonable to start. Sometimes late or early. But I use a lot of data to figure this out. Ppl who have talked about that specific film, people who answer w/ locations, etc, numbers etc.
So if a large group of ppl answer that they’re in Europe or Asia, the times are skewed in their favour. But I also am trying to take individual requests into consideration. I enjoy doing it but it’s starting to wear me out. I put the times up on Weds so if there is a special
request you have about the film, get to me before then. It doesn’t help to get upset about it afterwards when I need to change times. Communicate your needs - everyone! I am trying to be fair in switching times/accommodating as much as I can. thank you for coming to my ted talk.
