This guy is saying "There's no problem of unavailability of food and water in trains." He is either lying or he is lying. I'll prove him wrong by using data provided by @RailMinIndia in this press release - https://pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1627231

The @RailMinIndia then says IRCTC distributed more than 78 lakh free meals and more than 1.10 crore water bottles to travelling migrants.

Now let's see how many bottles and meals per migrants: 1.625 meals and 2.29 bottles (I am assuming litre bottle) per migrant. I will come back to this later.

While @RailMinIndia does not say where these trains terminated but since UP CM Yogi has said that 17 lakh returned to the state by train, I am assuming most of the trains from Gujarat and Maharashtra were for UP. Next would be Bihar.

This Times of India story has lot more details on migrants returning to UP from various states. But I am only relying on @RailMinIndia press release issued today https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/lucknow/mammoth-ferrying-up-brings-about-25l-migrants-back-home/articleshow/76017209.cms
I don't think any train from either Gujarat or Maharashtra to any part of UP takes less than 24 hours. Trains to Bihar, east UP, Jharkhand, West Bengal take ,much longer. And we have seen Maharashtra-Bihar journey taking even 72 hours.
. @saahilmenghani has been following this story so he knows better how much is the average time for a train. May be he can shed more light on this fact.
But let's be kind to the @RailMinIndia and say 3543 of these trains had an average journey time of 24 hours. So, each migrant had 1.625 meals and 2.29 litre water in 24 hours (I am being too kind to the @RailMinIndia).
Now tell me how much water do you drink in May (Temperature in Delhi, UP is over 45). I drink more than 2 litre just with my at least 3 meals.
Conclusion: If each train had an average journey time of 24 hours (IT DID NOT), each migrant got 1.625 meals and 2.29 litre water on a 24-hour journey. I don't know about you @PiyushGoyal but I cannot survive on this.
