If you’re an aspiring player feeling lost or alone preparing for ECQs I’ve been there before and the key to success is reading content and reaching out to people. You don’t need a “pro team” to succeed. Many people in the community love talking over deck ideas.
@FriendsofEterna is a community full of people ranging from first time ECQ competitors to ECQ champions like @Sunyveil and myself. Great discussions and decks come out of there all the time.
@BacklashCCG is starting to expand into strategy content. ECQ finalist @NotoriousGHP and myself are both writers for this website. We give high quality in depth content that will help you improve at Eternal.
And lastly, like I said, reach out to the players you respect. They don’t bite and love talking to people. I remember running into GHP on ladder while playing a Felnscar control deck long before I joined TRS and spending half an hour talking with him about ideas to improve it.
