Major setback: Campbellton region is going back to orange phase due to 3 cases, one of whom is a health care worker who had lots of contacts. Jennifer Russell expects more cases.
Campbellton region is now limited to two-family bubbles again, and businesses that were allowed to open last week have to shut down again. People who traveled to the area from other parts of NB should self-monitor for symptoms. People in the area can get tested.
Russell said the new case is someone who traveled and did not self-isolate upon their return. The two other cases in the region are connected to that person, so it's considered a cluster.
Higgs adds, clearly angry: the medical professional who traveled to Quebec "for personal reasons ... was not forthcoming" at the border. This person saw multiple patients after returning. "We know we will see more cases connected to this."
