Can we advise govt to act on the ticking timebomb that is our transport system?

I was in a ZUPCO bus today. The current situation completely defeats the purpose of a lockdown .

1. Queues of over a 100 people waiting for public transport negates any social distancing one does throughout the day.
2. Two roadblocks requiring everyone to get off the bus and queue AGAIN is not only redundant. It increases the risk of infection.

So we find ourselves in a situation where we avoid COVID19 for the in the gym, bar and work only to gather with 100 strangers for 3 hours every day.

How is no one seeing anything wrong with this?

My take: Bring back kombis under supervision to ease the load on ZUPCO buses

Or open up the economy and continue with our lives instead of having a “useless lockdown”. That way at least, we can die with an active economy.

No sanctions, no extra cost, no $15 billion bailout to fix this.

Just a government with the interest of the people to fix this. Thank you
