NB Update-

New case of covid found in zone 5 (Campbellton region). Individual is in their fifties.
The investigation has determined that all three cases announced in the region over the last week is related to travel.

@CTVAtlantic
One of the cases is a healthcare worker. Dr. Russell feels there will be more cases in the region.
Because of this, she has recommended to government that "immediate action" should be taken.
She recommends that zone 5 -- Campbellton and Dalhousie -- be moved back to the "orange level."
"Unfortunately not everyone is taking this seriously..."
Dr. Russell says they've received anecdotal reports of people travelling for non-essential reasons.
Higgs says this cluster started when a healthcare worker travelled to Quebec for personal reasons, was not "forthcoming about their reasons for travel upon returning to New Brunswick. And they did not self-isolate as a result."
The healthcare worker saw "multiple cases" after their return.

Higgs has strong words, calling the individual "irresponsible."
"We know we'll see more cases connected to this."

Higgs announces that zone 5 is returning to the orange level. Two household bubble is permitted.
Personal services businesses, like hair salons, cannot operate.
Mobile testing will start tomorrow AM in the region.
"We have to control this within the region."
"I strongly encourage people to stay at home (in that region), and to stay in that zone as much as possible."
He says this situation could have happened without reopening. Calls it most concerning.
Dr. Russell says the investigation into the situation is underway. She won't say if there will be repercussions for the individual.
She says the next 14 days will be their focus right now. Dr. Russell says they do know some NBers travelled to that region and had contact with the individual.
