@arunbothra Sir
Back in Nov 2019, due to meter device issues, elec.charges of ~6.5 times the approx. actual value was deducted from my mother's salary slip & the refund process has not been initiated yet even after multiple requests to the society electricity office.(BBSR) [1/6]
I had approached them multiple times for getting a refund & every single time I was told that the necessary adjustments would be made in the next few months' bills until the refund amount is taken care of, but no such thing has been done yet (except for Feb 2020). [2/6]
According to my mother's salary slip, full electricity charges are being deducted and no proper adjustments have been made yet. We have been running to their office for the past 6-7 months to get the bill settled. Tomorrow I'll be contacting them again. [3/6]
Sir, whether I should wait for another month to see if the issue is taken care of? Or should I approach any 'certain place' asap? In case of the latter, please tell me where should I report the matter? Police station or consumer court or any other place? [4/6]
I will be extremely grateful if anyone who comes across this thread could help me on how to deal with this issue as not being able to find the appropriate procedures has been and is still really stressful.
Thank you. [5/6]
P.S.
Due to meter device issues, we were not provided the electricity bill for Nov 2019. But I do have a track of the events (along with the dates) that had occured that time. I also have the elec.bill for other months, payslips & detailed calculations to support my case. [6/6]
