It is a testament to how profoundly *Christian* the African-American community is—and a proof that whiteness is anti-Christ.

For those of us who are white, this should make us question everything—*everything*—we think we know about what it means to be Christian.

If there is anything we refuse to question, then we can be sure that that is where racism has made its home in us—right at the heart of what we imagine is divine.

And as Willie Jennings says — Christian American hatred for people of color began in hatred for *Israel*.
