Further to our announcement in March, we regret to inform you that we will be extending the closure of the Railway and @Mus_Scot_Rways to visitors until the end of September.

This includes the Station Buffet, Gift Shop, Model Railway & Visitor Trail. We are disappointed but our primary concern must be the continued protection of our #volunteers, staff and visitors.

Additionally, we have made the decision to cancel all special events up to the 1 November. This includes @ThomasFriends #DayOutWithThomas in July and September, Fish & Chips Trains in August and October, 1940s & 50s Event in August and #AutumnSteamGala in October/November.

Customers who have pre-booked directly with us for events, #AfternoonTea or other experience packages will be contacted individually by email or phone from 1 June. We would be grateful if you could be as patient as possible as we have reduced staffing levels.

Like all visitor attractions we are looking at how we can reopen safely. We are closely monitoring @scotgov guidelines and Route Map Through and Out of the Crisis. We want to be back on site welcoming our visitors as soon as we can, but only when it is safe to do so.
