/n To all my migraine friends I like to let you know about a twitter bot I wrote called @TrialMigraine. This bot tracks and posts new headaches related clinical trials registered on clinical trial dot gov. It updates daily. Mission is three fold:
/n For patients: this allows you to track the lastest research in headaches. For headache docs/researchers: it allows you to see what other people are working on. For clinical trial researchers: it may help with recruitment.
/n The bot has the quirk on looking up anything remotely associated with headaches. So it will return non relevant trials such as vaccine research etc. But the editorial decision is to do a bigger search rather than a narrow search.
/n It also only gives the title (up to 280 characters) so you need to look up the title on clinical trial gov. The bot uses clinical trial dot gov api which is itself a new release. So we may have to iron out things as time goes forward.
/n The bot is otherwise powered with #haskell and #clojure. Retweet if you think this utility is helpful and maybe it’ll help other people.
/n Some older tweets on there are re COVID. That was just me testing the bot.
/n Oh yeah and obviously it is free and retained some degree objectivity since it is not funded by anyone from industry. End thread
