"Not all white people are racist" no shade but I don't care :s

If there is an ounce of truth in that statement then why is systematic racism showing no signs of going away? Just because not all white people say slurs and have friends of colour doesn't mean that they're not too comfortable in their whiteness to dismantle it

Not enough white people are anti-racist and just cos they're not actively oppressing people of colour it doesn't erase that their very existence is afforded to by racism. Whiteness is oppressive and white people need to work towards eliminating categories of race.

When I go on twitter or IG it's largely black people and people of colour educating white people on race. Why? What's preventing white people from picking up a book or an article at least and doing the work?

I truly do not think you can call yourself anti-racist unless you're learning about where it comes from, how to not perpetuate it and standing against structures that allow these things to happen. Stop making Black people and people of colour do all the labour

It's like saying "not all rich people are bad" because some donate to charity or speak about oppression. Bad news they all are because they're not giving up their wealth which is the cause of poverty

Just because you acknowledge something exists and is wrong doesn't excuse you from examining your position and rejecting it.
