BREAKING: Former SAA Chairperson Dudu Myeni has been declared a delinquent director for life.

Judge Ronel Tolmay has also said in her judgment and evidence led is referred to the NPA for their consideration and determination of whether an investigation regarding possible criminal conduct should follow. #DuduMyeni

Judge Tolmay in her judgment says
Myeni was a director gone rogue. Judge Tolmay says she did not have the slightest consideration for her fiduciary duty to SAA.

Judge Tolmay says in her judgment: “To serve on a board of an SOE should not be a privilege of the politically connected. Whoever serves on the board of SOE should ultimately be a servant of the public...”

Judge Tolmay says “whoever is appointed as such has a sacred duty to society & should ensure that state resources are not squandered or the economy at risk.”

Judge Tolmay mentions how Ms Myeni spoke about not being able to afford to get to court but failed Tk disclose earning a from her various dictatorships. Judge says she gave another explanation for failing to attend & judge says this was dishonest and constituted perjury.

Judge Tolmay in her judgment says Myeni appealing was her way of delaying the case. “This conduct was clearly calculated to cause maximum delay & disruption. #SAA #DuduMyeni

Judge Tolmay also speaks to how the court warned her that not attending the court case from the onset would compromise her defense. #Myeni only attending the matter when she was set to take the stand. #SAA

Judge Tolmay says Ms Myeni can apply to the court after 3 years from the date of the order for the declaration of delinquency to be suspended but this would mean she has to show the court she’s “sufficiently remedied and rehabilitated her misconduct.”

Judge Tolmay in her judgment says immense harm was done to the country and its people in the last years due to mismanagement, not only a SAA but other SOEs

Judge Tolmay says something sinister was going on behind the scenes. She says this constitutes for the NPA to consider the evidence & if investigations were undertaken it should include the other board members who were implied. #SAA #DuduMyeni
