It’s hard for me to respect pages like Akademiks. When you have a platform you have POWER to help build on the momentum these artists already built for themselves. It’s upsetting to see these blogs share/mention our fallen artist when it’s an “RIP” attached to the caption...
It upsets me because I know he follows 6ixbuzz, you see his name under comments so he stays up on what upcoming talent we have.

But It’s not just Ak, its US as a COMMUNITY! We need to support each other while we here, help one another flourish and let that energy repeat.
This is beyond Toronto, we have to do better at supporting our people. We’ve seen accounts jump followers, music streams triple and it’s always after we lose an artist, why? Where the love at when they was promoting their new album? Singles? Yall don’t hear me tho.
No matter the size of your page, the amount of followers or likes you be getting we all have a voice. Period.

It’s on you to take it upon yourself to use what you have to help lift & support talent while they’re here or yall can continue to speak when it’s time for a RIP post.
