If statement one reads a bit like Hayek's Nobel talk where he argues against the "hubris of science" it should give us pause that he was a most strategic long term knowlege planner central to setting up think tank networks in a lot of unknowing efforts. 2/
Yes, all knowledge is likely biased in some way, but the way in which it is biased also seems to matter a lot. Do academic really have to be elite ignorants or should we rather think more about our choices in terms of commitments and affiliations?
