This is the second time I've heard this claim today from someone high up in the contact tracing scheme
I think we're roughly close to 10,000 new cases a day at the moment - so I wonder what's changed since @AdamJKucharski et al published this paper?

Now Boris Johnson says he's set a target for all tests results to be returned in under 24 hours
Is he aware that his team believe doing home tests this quickly is impossible - for the understandable reason that it's impossible to teleport swabs? Or is he ditching home testing?
