When I was 14 yrs old I almost made the biggest mistake in my life in trying to avenge the murder of my brother. I was a good kid. A lot of these young people that are caught up in this violence would be different, if their circumstances were different.
My anger, the streets, and easy access to guns almost cost me my life. I am passionate about this issue of urban violence because I lived it, & now it has become a national epidemic that is disproportionately impacting the Black Community. I was told by a group of men that my
life mattered. Indy let's address the surging senseless violence in our city, & the root causes that is causing too many individuals to go down the wrong path. I just believe that every life is valuable, and that every life matters.
