I would like to understand why only trans men’s gender history is wiped from existence but no one else’s is when it comes to these topics
This is where nuance comes into play. MOST trans masc had girlhoods and were perceived as women in this society. We have been directly affected by misogyny for the majority of our lives. We were and STILL are being called Dykes etc. it’s not JUST for lesbians.
So to sit up here and FIX YOUR LIPS to speak on trans masc like we are cis and have benefitted from this privilege the all of our lives is FALSE.
Yes! we can take accountablility for the privilege we hold now but that means EVERYONE ELSE who has benefitted from that same privledge in their previous identities need to be held accountable too.
