3 common mistakes that people make with IELTS.
A thread.
1. Undermining IELTS... I have heard people it’s just an English test, Fam, it’s not GNS 101 I don’t care how well you speak or write English already, if you undermine it you will fall flat on your face. They teach English by sounds we weren’t taught English that way!
2. Grammatical mistakes and spelling errors. You will lose marks for every spelling and grammatical mistake you make. Pay attention to your verbs, your nouns, you pronouns, adverbs and your adjectives. Know when and how to use them! It’s key.
3. Your word count matters.
The writing section is divided into two parts the first task which a count of 150 words whilst the second task is 250 words. There is no upper word count but you will lose marks for writing under the word count.
