We’re occasionally shown a sliver of what black Americans go through on a daily basis, just the ones that get recorded. Then, white people manage to take a pandemic infringing their rights personally, add it with their predisposed racism and pent up anger & that’s a wrap.

We, as white people, are enabling murder. Enabling each other to use the police like customer service. You turn a blind eye to any of this shit and it’s on you, it’s on us. This shit is over. It has got to be over. We can’t wait for someone else to fix it.

And as much as I’d love to sit here and talk about how this is Trumps fault, we don’t have the time! He can’t even tie his shoes, never mind fix systemic racism! MAGA exposed this, but it was always here, waiting for permission to live out loud like the racists they are.

It was here before and it will be here after his illiterate ass is out of office. This needs to happen, yes at national level, but more importantly, at a local level. Community by community.
