i saw someone saying basically can we stop using the excuse people are young and dumb as to why they’re racist and i can see what they mean but also like people grow up in situations where if their parents/siblings/just overall surroundings are telling them

a certain stigma or something they are obviously going to believe it as well

like i remember when i was very very young like 5th grade and before i was very prejudiced towards muslim people because i grew up in a christian household and church and all the negative hateful stereotypes about them

like how was i supposed to know any better ??? if that’s all i had heard and seen. idk just that persons statement i was like what the fuck
