A thread about why small businesses shouldn’t trust influencers to support @IvorianDoll_
We asked Ivorian Doll if she could promo our clothes and be an ambassador, to which she agreed. We were so happy and excited for the exposure we were about to get as she had become very prominent in the U.K. scene. Unfortunately, we got finessed
Now at first we thought she just hadn’t gotten round to take pictures as she is quite. However, we then viewed her story and saw her wearing our playsuit and to our surprise, she hadn’t tagged us!
We decided we would give her time and waited about two weeks. Meanwhile she was posting on both Instagram and snap frequently. As a small business we felt cheated, all we wanted was a picture and an @ and we were even prepared to just have her send a picture for us to post
Of course despite our comprise, she still failed to even send us a picture or a video which we knew she had. We were very skeptical of taking it to the TL so we tried to address the issue privately through someone else, to which she didn’t respond @IvorianDoll_
We were warned about using influencers but we felt as though IVD would come through for us. As fans disappointed but unfortunately not surprised. What upset us the most was that she couldn’t even thank us for the outfit we provided her #dollz @TheShadeBorough @UKGOSSIPTV
Seems we weren’t the only ones that got finessed.
So she’s now blocked my business partner and whilst this was all going she’s gone to promo another clothing brand.... still no picture sent or posted @UKGOSSIPTV @TheShadeBorough
