Yes, there is no question that Pete has incredibly racist supporters. He also has extremely misogynistic supporters, and it became clear in Iowa that he even had homophobic supporters. What upsets #TeamPete, is that he's the one always called out for it. This is NOT unique

to him at all. Every single candidate has those same ignorant, hateful fools in their camp. Need proof? Follow Rose Twitter for 5 minutes. Warren's camp told indigenous people to get over her appropriating their ethnicity. Even Kamala, , & Andrew couldn't get a 100% rating

for the communities of color they represented. Let's not even get into Amy Klobuchar. Then there's Joe Biden who has white people defending his "well spoken" and "you're not black" comments. The issue is, Pete has become the Left's whipping boy for everything. So, some of

us have to ask ourselves why. What sets him apart? Was it his so-called "thin resume"? Well, Yang and Steyer aren't getting this kind of hyperbolic backlash. White male privilege? Our final two choices were two old white men. His age? Dem presidents tend to be on the younger

side? His sexual orientation? Well, let me pause an think about it. Just as racism is often unconscious, so is homophobia. We all know white people who say "I don't see color" thinking they're doing the right thing, but what most of us know is that if you cannot see color,

you cannot see the injustices based on that color. Did that person know and intentionally say something that was racist? Probably not, but it still was. So, do I see 100% blatant homophobia with every Pete attack? No, of course not. But, do I also suspect some unconscious

bias creeping in? You bet your ass I do.
The reason this fuck up is so infuriating has little to do with the fact it was baseless, but that they singled Pete out. The article also listed Obama, but no one is talking about that, and we know Obama had his racist voters. I've

spent enough time in bars and groups hearing people say racist shit and when called on it, they quickly throw out how they voted for Obama like it's their anti-racist shield. So, it goes back to why Pete? We've established all candidates have shitty supporters. We also know

that racists (homophobes, misogynists, xenophobes) come in the democratic persuasion, so why are other candidates supporters AND STAFF singling out Pete? Yes, it's homophobia and it's got to be addressed.
In saying this, I am not saying Pete is without faults. I've

railed against the stans who see him as a second coming of christ. I have stark differences with Pete where I think is horribly wrong, but I also thought he was the best person to lead us forward. It was a sacrifice I was happy to make. But that said, there's a lot of shit

thrown at him by various personalities that make us scratch our head and say "WTF?" This is one of those many instances.
I'm not here to fight anyone, I'm too fucking tired, but I hope you can actually think about what I said and why it's so damn infuriating.
