Just briefly bc I've seen this circulated quite a bit:

Yes, #ISIS claimed 3 attacks against LNA forces in May in Southern #Libya (Tamanhint, Taraghin, Umm al-Aranib) in al-Naba no.235 (employing Katyusha rockets)

Yes, on 25 May ISIS claimed another attack in Fezzan (Taraghin) https://twitter.com/MaritimeSecuri1/status/1265020312682475523
However, while there is evidence for the Taraghin VBIED attack (on 23 May), the other attacks seem to be (mere) ISIS propaganda
Interestingly this time round,LNA forces/media weren't capitalising much on this alleged ISIS threat (they're usually amongst the first ones to claim they're fighting a constant ISIS threat). This is likely connected to preoccupations for damage control re the Tripoli offensive
Overall, ISIS is regaining strength but (still) Libyan activities are minor next to the recent series of large-scale and coordinated attacks in parts of #Syria and #Iraq
Finally, the claimed attacks in #Libya weren't reported much but the articles I saw relied on photos from other localities – like this one w a pic from Sinjar https://bit.ly/3gsio10  (tells us sth about difficulties accessing Libya’s South & importance of local orgs & reporting)
