I watched what happened to #GeorgeFloyd and what could have happened to Christian Cooper. I’m angry, frustrated, and sad. But what I’m thinking about is the online coursework I’ve yet to do. The Anki and UWorld I need to catch up on. The research projects I’ve neglected.

It’s difficult to process these emotions and heal when you feel like you don’t have the luxury of time. And this is not just a problem for people in medicine. Many people are hurting today and still have to go to work and school and be there for their families. It’s tough.
