It is notable that the problem is defined in terms of what potential applicants lack and yet applicants and current students were not directly involved in the evidence used.

The Russell Group need to realise the an education needs to start from where students are at rather than wasting time by saying they can transform society if only someone else would make sure that the poor are ready to benefit from their educational wonders.
