DO NOT TURN AWAY
For me, this image of
an ASIAN cop turning his back on
a WHITE cop as he murders
a BLACK man symbolizes patently the anti-blackness that exists within our community.

Just as this man is an accomplice to murder, so are we in the Asian community complicit in the violence and injustice that befalls other peoples of color unless we engage in the fight for justice for all, not just us.

To my Fellow Yellows who love black culture, but don't fight white supremacy as it crushes black communities, you're part of the problem. And please don't ask me to stand for your Asian causes, then shrink from engaging in a real conversation about anti-blackness.

@divafeminist told me it's not enough not to be racist, we must be ACTIVELY ANTI-RACIST.
Let's be clear: we benefit from our proximity to whiteness. Cozying up to white supremacy is sleeping with enemy.
