Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah (Thread) #1857

Born in 1820s, He was son of Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan of Chinapattan, Madras. He became disciple of Syed Furqan, a sufi of Qadri order. He arrived at Lucknow in November, 1856. (1) @ssharadmohhan
During battle of Chinhat, he commanded both Hindus and Muslims sepoys in which British forces under Henry Lawrence were defeated. Begum Hazrat Mahal also joined him. Later on, Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah established himself at Muhammadi where he declared himself to be an (2)
independent ruler. Sir Collin Campbell attached Muhammadi on 24 May, 1858 and defeated Maulvi. He left Muhammadi and proceed towards Puwanyan where he was betrayed Raja Jagannath and was killed on 05 June, 1858. (3).
