Okay so I know almost for certain that someone on here traces their art and they get noticed for it a lot. They also act very superior about their ā€˜art’ despite this. I think the sheer fact people know who I’m talking about says something. Might fuck around and post proof https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ¤”" title="Thinking face" aria-label="Emoji: Thinking face">
Okay let’s start some fights ladies. Here we go.
FOR REFERENCE HERE, IF SHE DIDN’T ACT SO HIGH AND MIGHTY ABOUT HER ART I WOULDN’T BE DOING THIS, BUT SHE DOES SOOOO
PART ONE // okay from that response we all know who I’m talking about so let’s start some SHIT LADIES !! Gonna show you her art on top of the original image and flick it on and off/ lower opacity/ please read the whole thread thank u queens https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ’—" title="Growing heart" aria-label="Emoji: Growing heart">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ’—" title="Growing heart" aria-label="Emoji: Growing heart">
PART TWO // So basically, I went on google and downloaded the same image I think she used, I opened that in procreate then imported her art over the top of it. THEY WERE THE SAME FUCKING RESOLUTION AND EVERYTHING.
PART THREE // so what she most likely does is take the image in Medibang, zoom in and eyesdropper tool each colour of each area, put a scribble there, and repeat all over the image. This is TRACING. ANYONE CAN DO THIS. STOP LETTING PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS.
Someone feel free to tell me I’m wrong but it seems so painfully obvious to me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🌈" title="Rainbow" aria-label="Emoji: Rainbow">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Sparkles" aria-label="Emoji: Sparkles">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ’…šŸ»" title="Nail polish (light skin tone)" aria-label="Emoji: Nail polish (light skin tone)">
Let’s summarise, my intention here was to show people that she traces. If you are an artist and you trace a whole piece, disclaim it! A lot of beginner artists would see stuff like this and feel discouraged because they can’t ā€˜draw’ like she does, I know this because I find —
myself doing this even now and comparing myself to artists I think are better than me! I even felt that about Hollie’s art when I saw it, but it’s just a lie because she traces. It takes time to trace, but not skill and talent. If you trace for practice, that’s okay! However —
if you trace and do not disclose this and tag the queens, they’re none the wiser! You are taking away notices from actual artists who puut their blood, sweat, and tears into a piece just to have it ignored - that hurts!
Here’s some people that inspire me — go follow these amazing artists on IG ! @ bvredom_ / @ leoshki / @ anaiuart / @ jackilinja / @ p.eachly / @ rmas_art / @ mannequinsart / @ zowierox / @ artbycheyne / @ bibartis // https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ’—" title="Growing heart" aria-label="Emoji: Growing heart">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ’—" title="Growing heart" aria-label="Emoji: Growing heart">
