What happened to George Floyd was wrong, no matter the skin tone of any individual. I fear that we now live in a society that broadcasts the injustice towards what people call the “minority” and sit silence on the 800,000 interracial deaths done from blacks on white.
I don’t say that to try to call potty, I say this to me ole a question among many white Americans, which is why does a generation like ours filled with young millennials have to live with the stereotype racist until proven otherwise? Hate crimes happen, no one is doubting that.
But when does the cases like the white elderly man who was laying down when a black man videotaped him beating him up get the same news coverage. We fight so hard for equality, but only chose to throw that card on certain situations.
Imagine if we started to change every hate crime from the motive of race and chose to look at it in the fact that what he did was just wrong and needs justice no matter what race. That’s how we begin to bring unity between races not broadcasting stereotypical stories.
That being said I hope President Donald Trump sees the video we all did and deals justice to the wrongdoing.https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏" title="Folded hands" aria-label="Emoji: Folded hands">
