Firing the officers in Minneapolis was the right call, but arresting & charging them w/ the cold-hearted murder of George Floyd, who was clearly asking the officer to take his knee off his neck so he could breathe, get up & get in the car as asked, should have happened promptly.
I can't breathe watching it and no one should be able to. I ask those who were outraged when Colin Kaepernick respectfully protested THIS VERY ISSUE - the dangerously unjust treatment of black men by police - by taking a knee...
Where's the outrage when a white officer takes a knee to the neck of a subdued black man until he dies? For "possibly" passing a counterfeit twenty dollar bill at a restaurant? During a pandemic & mass economic turmoil? In a city where Philando Castile was shot dead by police?
