Ideas on generating more work
- http://hireacademics.com
- network with your peers, supervisors & your uni’s knowledge transfer team
- network with leading experts found through your work e.g. while doing a lit review
- pitch your skills directly
-update your LinkedIn & website
- write a post about your research for top blogs focused on your field of study (this can be your study topic e.g healthcare or your study population e.g. young people)
-write a post about your work for a site in adjacent field (e.g. an adjacent field to health is environment)
- reach out to people you have once worked with & let them know the additional skills you’ve gained & your interests
- where possible ask for feedback on job applications you didn’t get (it is also a way to network). Ask to be considered in the future where it is a better fit
