On screen is a District Councillor. They are directly elected officials, like a borough rep in NYC. HK pan-dems swept these elections this past year after 20 years of famine. At protests they try to act as intermediaries. Popo usually arrest and Injustice Dept prosecutes em 3/x

On screen now is a fire barricade. Only 20% of HKers own cars. A privileged minority. The #HongKong popo and govt policy long-term is to favour their own privileged minority over HK groundlings. cf former leader/CPPCC Vice-Chairman CY's comments on limiting suffrage 4/x

On screen now is the Green Gang/Green Objects and hi-viz vested journalists. There are the paramilitary riot popo in #HongKong. Absolutely loathed. On a scale of 0-100, after a corona lull 44% still give em a 0. 5/x

On screen now are local residents heckling the Green Gang for arresting a passer-by. The quota must be fulfilled. A year of this has turned neighbourhoods into protesters as the Green Gang shits on peace and stability. 6/x

Besides the Green Gang, we also see on screen, the popo in middling blue cloth vests. They are allegedly popo media liaisons, but you'd never know it from their atrocious behaviour towards the press. 7/x
