Finished Book 1 of the Avatar. Aang is still incredibly annoying, Katara is selfish, and Sokka is a paranoid bum.

In all seriousness though, it really is okay to have characters with obvious flaws, but maybe not shove them in the viewer's face constantly. It got a little tiring toward the end. Hoping that the gang grows up quite a bit in book 2.
