Wonderful news that @kezdugdale is now free of a relentless attempt to silence fair comment by a man who, as found by the court, subjected her to many years of abuse and insults - just as he did to many others - and who has happily now also been permanently banned from Twitter.
Much respect must go the @Daily_Record for supporting Kez all the way on this, but it's vitally important to remember those who didn't, namely the UK Labour Party and its former General Secretary Jennie Formby, who tried to hang Kez out to dry by dropping their support mid case.
Of all the factional stupidity we witnessed in Corbyn's Labour, that episode will forever stand out in my mind. It was nothing short of disgusting, venal and, as the result of the original case and this appeal go to show, based on political enmity not legal assessment as claimed.
I am utterly delighted for Kez, and deeply relieved that UK Labour now has new leader and a new General Secretary who can return Labour to being a party which defends its people from unfair attack, rather than throwing them to the wolves.

Oh, and cry me a fucking river, Stuart.
