While UI Goku's 5S has many good traits, this is not one of them and I still see it mentioned alot. His 5S doesn't beat kiblasts. At all. So to tackle this misconception I prepared some videos that show how his 5S and 2S actually work, down in the thread below.

I turned of all the voices and music so you can listen to the footage better.
As you can see, regular kiblasts trade with UI Goku's 5S. His 5S is just like a regular kiblast in terms of priority.
It does however ignore deflect-property, like Videl's 5S Saiyaman-call.

Since it trades with regular kiblasts, it should lose to kiblasts with higher priority, right?
Testing against Broly, Nappa and Jiren we see that this is the case. It loses to those and UI Goku gets punished.

Let's go a step further. What about characters that have multiple kiblasts available?
It again behaves like a regular kiblast. The first hit trades, the 2nd kiblast punishes UI Goku.

Of course there are some kiblasts that will not clash because the hitboxes miss each other. Here are 3 examples of kiblasts going over or under UI Goku's 5S, resulting in a trade.
UI Goku's jS works exactly the same.
Now 2S is a little bit different. It actually beats regular kiblasts!
But it sadly still doesn't have beam-property, as it still clashes with Broly's jS. Since he is able to chain multiple kiblasts together, he can shoot through and punish UI Goku.

It should be clear at this point, but let's not leave beams out.
They beat and cancel out UI Goku's 5S and 2S.

Hope that helps everyone that got confused about how UI Goku's S buttons work. I also hope that this thread will clear up that misconception.
His 5S and 2S definitely have good properties, but you cannot treat them like beams when it comes to its priority. They have their flaws.
