Another one? Na wa o.
The frequency with which Journalists are being arrested, detained, missing is a sure sign of abuse of power by federal, state and even local authorities in the country.
The FG @NigeriaGov @NGRPresident @MBuhari should lead the way in ending this tyranny. https://twitter.com/thecableng/status/1265582447674212355
Anyone who ventures into Public Office— whether elected or appointed— knew what they’ll be up against from Media and Citizens in a quest for Public Accountability.
Even when journalists and citizens are wrong in approach, there are constitutional process for reacting to them.
Ours is a Constitutional Democracy. It provides for Rights &Processes.

We don’t need a Democracy where the Presidency, Ministers, Governors and Commisioners can easily be angered to the point of detaining journalists/citizens on a whim just because of what they said or wrote.
The fact that all categories and levels of Public Officials can easily deploy the resources of the @NGRPresident controlled DSS (or SSS) to carry out repressive acts against media/citizens’ rights should worry the Federal Government and @MBuhari .
Please stop this menace.
On this latest assault on a Citizen’s /Journalist’s right to Due Process by the Government of Akwa Ibom , the Governor, @MrUdomEmmanuel should stop it immediately. There must be something that sends people into a frenzy when in power. How can you allow this, Mr Governor? How?
When the Citizens are ready, they will Design the Democracy and Governance system that best serves us.

Nobody nor group of persons will #FixPolitics for our Citizens.
It is the Citizens’ Duty to correct anomalies.
When Citizens are ready, our Democracy will truly happen. ✍🏾
