Mohamed Noor a Minneapolis police officer got sentenced to 12 years murder and manslaughter for accidentally killing a white woman in 2017. 2 years late that same department gave her family a $20m settlement. Minneapolis gave her justice but George Floyd will get nothing you wait
Mohamed Noor himself said that his department taught him to always shoot first. As soon as he got charged with murder, they fired him with no pay. You see how they deal with black officers ? When have we ever in this life heard a white police officer being dealt with like that?
And it only took the government 2 years to give her a family a large settlement. Central Park 5 only got their settlements 12 years after their sentences. Just a meagre 3.9m each. What’s that?
Remember Emmet Till? The 14 year old boy who got lynched because Karen aka Carolyn Bryant admitted that she lied about saying he sexually harassed her? The family got NOTHING! And she is still alive to this day!!
The racial injustice is so painfully obvious at this point, you got people like Amy Cooper and that Mike screaming lady that will weaponise their tears and peoples fear of police officers to their benefit. They are so aware they will use their privilege for violence
The tension and racial divide right now is at such an all time high, this won’t end well.
Oh and I forgot to add. Mohamed Noor killed her with 1 single shot.
Stephon Clark, shot 8 times. Philando Castile, shot 7 times. Michael Brown, 7 times. Walter Scott, 5 times. These WHITE officers killed with intent, yet none of them were charged. Only Mohamed, a BLACK man.
