#MuseumsUnlocked - 'Fashion, Clothing and Bodily Adornment'

Some examples of #Minoan dress: the 'Saffron Gatherers' Fresco, east wall of Room 3a, Xeste 3, Akrotiri; House of the Ladies, Akrotiri.
And of course the (in)famous 'Ladies in Blue' fresco from the Palace of Knossos.

These extensively restored and recreated panels have been the source of much discussion on the dress and significance of women in Minoan Crete, as has the 'Mistress of Animals' Fresco, also from Xeste 3.
