can i just rant for sec? idc if no one will read this but let me just vent out what i felt after reading some curious cat questions that are being thrown to those stan accounts who loves to make socmed au's.

“stop writing. wala namang nag babasa.”
“your stories are boring.”

first of all, it's not easy to conceptualize a story. we needed to go through a lot of brainstorming and we also need to organize our thoughts just to come up with an idea and concepts, i also need to add our worries that there might be a story out there that already have the—
some plot as what we thought of, so we needed to check other stories first because we don't want to be labeled as “no originality” or a “copy cat” just because another writer already write the same plot as ours although in my OWN opinion IT IS COMPLETELY OKAY TO HAVE A SIMILAR—
PLOT BECAUSE ALL STORIES ENDS THE SAME. we can see that in movies too, and other books that we tend to read, what matters is how you conceptualize the story line which needed to be different than other people's work.
second, it also took us a lot of time to write about what we wanted to write. even if it's just a social media au, we needed to find the right word/s to use that would fit the scene and the situation because we consider the readers’ feelings too.
a certain scene may be light to some, and they would be completely okay about it, but for other people it would be heavy. that's why we needed to be careful on what to write.
and in narrations, we needed to proofread what we wrote just to check if we made any typo or grammatical error. i also like to add that it's not easy to come up with a narration, even if the idea is already in our head.
because just like the social media, we needed to find the right words to describe the narrative scene. we don't want the scene to sound boring and exaggerating by the choice of our words, and we mostly undergo through a lot of writers block just to write the story in narrative.
third, being a writer is not easy. i admit that there are days where i feel insecure about my writing but i came up with a realization that I AM MAKING MY OWN STORY, and same goes for other writers too.
AND THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS THREAD.

“can you just please stop writing?”
“your stories are boring.”
“wala namang nag babasa sa story mo.”

and all the hate tweets that you're throwing through curious cat.
i will speak tagalog from now on, so that i can clearly express my thoughts.
hindi niyo alam 'yung trauma na binibigay niyo sa isang tao sa tuwing nag sesend kayo ng hate tweets through curious cat, we get it na hindi po kami kasing galing ng ibang manunulat but just like them, WE PUT A LOT OF EFFORTS IN OUR STORIES TOO.
balikan niyo nalang kami sa hate tweets niyo kapag you already went through the same feeling that we've been through, ang dali lang kasi para sa inyo na sabihan kami to stop writing because you're not in our situation.
