Rambling thoughts, new hypothetical reasoning on Cummings.

Bear with me.

The supposed mastermind and strategist behind Vote Leave goes off on a mad car trip with his family after saying he symptomatic and would be isolating at his London address.

Everything he has done and said beggar belief - and his "reasoning's" just make the nonsense less and less believable.

Conspiracy theory 1 is that he visited Glaxo in Barnard Castle - which would be easy to prove if he did, so he probably actually didn't.

But everything he has said makes his position untenable.

Johnson makes his own position untenable by refusing to sack him.

Which is where my hypothetical conspiracy theory comes in.

Several other SPAD's have been installed at No. 10 by Vote Leave Director Matthew Elliot and Vote Leave strategist Cummings.

Cummings does not need to be there - he has puppets in place. And he clearly does not want to be in the spotlight.

So he engineers a way to be removed.

What about Johnson?

Well, he clearly does not want to actually be PM.

He is so awful that him going, along with Cummings, would re-unify the Tory party and calm the public.

So, an apparent level headed person could then be put in place.

Someone who is a leaver, probably ERG, but calls for Cummings to go.

Someone close in with Elliot and Cummings,

Someone who says they don't like Cummings.

At any other time this would be a nutty theory.

Right now it seems the most likely truth to me
