Could reducing interdependence, better balancing globalisation with localisation, efficiency with resilience and upwards regulatory convergence offer better future than unfettered old-style FTAs and globalisation? He certainly makes cogent arguments for it...

..and makes strong arguments also for early conditionality before giving state aid to large (polluting) companies.
