Twitter, trying to articulate this question... clearly the worst has actually happened re. how the UK dealt with the infection. We ARE in herd immunity, it& #39;s in the population, it will continue this way as it& #39;s far too late for another approach. So -
At what point do those who are still going beyond the govt advice (still observing full lockdown etc.) ... stop? Are we still going to be doing this in 6 months when it feels like the rest of the UK has basically given up?
Are we going to be made to feel insane (already happening somewhat) for continuing to observe strict distancing and essential journeys only etc.? At what point are we just being mugs for self-imposing rules that might not have any meaningful effect?
(When I say & #39;meaningful effect& #39;, I mean - this shit only works if a meaningful amount of people are doing it.)
